Testosterone “TRT” Replacement Therapy

Testosterone has always been described as the hormone that drives sex, but it is much more detailed. It’s essential for normal body function and development in every man. Low testosterone can cause serious symptoms that affect a man physically and emotionally.

INJECTABLE TESTOSTERONE

Injectable bioidentical testosterone Low- T  treatments are injected once or twice a week. The injections can be performed at home by yourself or a partner. We will train you to perform the injection yourself.  Injections are a good option for men  who may have difficulty absorbing testosterone through the skin, or do not wish to apply a T cream everyday.  Injectable medications will be Compounded by a specialty Pharmacy  designed specifically for you. The Pharmacy will then deliver the medication right  to your home address!

TESTOSTERONE CREAMS/GELS

Testosterone creams to treat LOW- T are applied daily directly to the skin. This application mimics the body’s natural testosterone  cycle. Testosterone creams are a great option for men who don’t wish to do injections, and who can easily add this treatment daily routine.

The need for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is decided by two factors:

2. Associated symptoms of low testosterone

Once you book your FREE discovery call you will receive a questionnaire, medical health history form, as well as some consents. These must be filled out prior to our call.  We will then meet virtually, discuss the basics and determine if you are a good candidate for treatment. If you are, following our visit an official consultation will be scheduled and a lab slip will be emailed to you. These labs must be performed prior to your initial consult- at a lab close to home, at your convenience. 

2. INITIAL CONSULTATION 

You’ll meet virtually with our Nurse Practitioner. You and your provider will discuss your medical history , symptoms and any related factors. We will then go over your lab values and what these mean in regards to your health and treatment. This process is comfortable and confidential.

3. TREATMENT PLAN

Depending on what your provider discovers during your initial consultation, they’ll use the data they collected during your consultation along with  test results to create a treatment plan that’s customized to your needs. Patient Safety is always the main goal, therefore if the provider feels as though treatment may put you at risk, treatment can be refused at any time. 

4. Your compounded medications made specifically for you will be ordered and shipped directly to your home, along with all supplies needed for treatment. A road to a happier, healthier you begins!

5.TREATMENT AND MONITORING

Treatments will be adjusted based on symptoms and labs. The patient will be monitored with lab work as the provider deems appropriate. Follow up appointment and lab work will be scheduled between 2-3 months and as needed. Most patients begin to see improvements in symptoms in as little as 3-4 weeks.

There are so many amazing, positive effects of testosterone therapy, but it’s important to know there is a possibility of other unwanted effects that may also arise, especially if the testosterone is not taken properly as directed.  As with any medication therapy, there is a chance your body could not tolerate testosterone. Some of these side effects may include:
